In the interview after the match, Dhoni told why he sent himself at number 7. Mahi said, ‘We wanted to try Sam and Jadeja in the upper order, at the end of the season you will see that the senior players will bat first, but at the beginning of the tournament we were experimenting to know who will perform well later.
